Tyler Richardson is a San Diego born saxophonist. Tyler studied saxophone at San Diego State University with Jay Easton, Doug Masek, Cory Homnick, Todd Rewoldt and John Rekevicks. Tyler earned his Bachelor's Degree in Saxophone Performance in 2006 and his Master's Degree in Jazz Studies in 2008 from San Diego State University. Tyler has performed for several musicals in San Diego with San Diego Musical Theatre and Lambs Players Theatre. Tyler has recorded with Eric Marienthal, Bob Mintzer, Vince Gill, Tali Rubenstien, Paul Hanson, Rocky Dawuni, Tina Guo and Eva Scow. Tyler currently performs with the Ira B. Liss Big Band Jazz Machine based out of San Diego.
